At Revolution MMA, we've designed our beginner MMA classes for teens who have busy schedules with school and extra-curricular activities. We work with students regardless of their level of experience and fitness to teach them the best and most effective MMA moves and techniques.
MMA, or Mixed Martial Arts, was originally designed as a method to put different fighting styles up against one another in order to determine which would be most effective in a variety of real combat situations. Today's MMA is essentially a form of cross-training in several types of martial arts. Here at Revolution MMA, and even in professional competitive events, rules have been implemented to protect the safety of the fighters as well as the integrity of the sport. For the most part, you can view it as a comprehensive and ongoing lesson in self-defense, determination, discipline, and respect for others.
Whether you're a beginner or someone who has some experience in martial arts, Revolution MMA is the perfect choice. We work with teens every single day to help them become stronger, more active, and fitter than ever before. In fact, 99% of the people we work with come to us because they want to improve their overall health and fitness, and they all stay in one piece while they learn new skills. Our classes are led by “Big" John McCarthy, who served as head referee for the UFC since 1993 and even helped develop many of the rules that are still upheld in professional MMA bouts today.
MMA classes for teens not only fit your schedule, but they also provide valuable lessons and an opportunity to build strong friendships with people who share the very same interests. Here at Revolution, our classes are supervised and well-taught to prevent injuries and build solid skills.
