Thomas Mandra began training in Muay Thai at age 13, seeking discipline, self-confidence, and a real sense of purpose. Growing up, the sport gave him serious conditioning and direction that shaped who he became. That foundation has stayed with him ever since.
A few years later, Thomas became a professional Muay Thai fighter with over 33 sanctioned bouts and numerous championship titles. He competed at the highest level, gained recognition across North America, and built an impressive career in the ring. Now at REVMMA, Toronto’s best-rated gyms for Muay Thai classes, he shares the same energy, knowledge, and genuine passion for his craft with every student he trains, regardless of age.
Thomas has made a real mark in the world of Muay Thai. Over the course of his professional career, he has competed across Canada and internationally, building a fight record that has firmly established him among the sport’s elite.
None of it came by accident. These accomplishments were built through years of structured training, discipline, and unshakable self-confidence. Every Muay Thai class in Toronto led by Thomas centers on these three components as the core of his training.

On top of all the titles listed above, Thomas holds a degree in Fitness and Health Studies. That expertise allows him to design training programs that respect how the body actually adapts: progressively, purposefully, and with a focus on long-term development.
His coaching centres on technical precision, discipline, and personal development. Thomas always structures his classes around a clear progression, no matter if you’re a Muay Thai beginner or an experienced athlete. He starts with a solid foundation, then adds complexity as students develop their skills and confidence.
At the core of Thomas’s coaching philosophy is the belief that Muay Thai classes in Toronto are for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or gender. As he often likes to say, “Muay Thai isn’t just about fighting. It’s about developing discipline and confidence that carry over into every aspect of your life.” The most important thing is simply to get started.
