Teen students join our boxing programs every single day for a variety of reasons. Some are interested in getting fit in a manner that is exciting and fun rather than boring and monotonous. Others come for the friendship and camaraderie, and still others are interested in learning how to box so that they can compete in contests around the world – some even on a professional level. Our trainers have extensive experience that they can share with teens to help them improve their skills.
Although some parents may feel a bit of concern about their teens' interest in boxing, the truth is that our classes teach respect for others and discipline at the same time. It isn't all about teaching students how to fight; it's about teaching them how to protect themselves and how to coordinate their actions. What's more, boxing is a very physically demanding activity, and it requires discipline and training in order to succeed. Teens who participate in boxing and other similar sports can improve their fitness, body image, and self-esteem, all while learning new skills and building confidence in themselves.
