Coach Mimi truly lives and breathes boxing. With 20+ years of experience, she has become a two-time Boxing Ontario Provincial Champion and a Canadian National Bronze Medalist, training side by side with the country’s top fighters and coaches. In 2014, she was named “Athlete of the Year” by Sully’s Boxing Gym, and in 2016, “Athlete of the Week” by City TV News.
Mimi is an NCCP-certified coach, which means her boxing classes in Toronto meet national training standards. She is a very empathetic coach who reads the room well, adapts to each person in front of her, and designs programs that match different goals, fitness levels, and experience.
So, if you’re a first-time REVMMA student, Mimi will help you ease in and start building towards your boxing goals at your own pace. And if you’ve already got experience and want to level up, she’ll meet you where you’re at and push you to the next stage of your training.
Mimi is one of those rare coaches who go beyond boxing. For her, health, safety, and personal growth are essential elements for creating a supportive and positive training environment. Her experience outside the ring allows her to support her students on a deeper level and provide the kind of guidance that makes a difference:
Mimi creates an atmosphere where every student, regardless of their fitness level or experience, feels completely safe from the very first moment and receives comprehensive support.

Mimi often tells beginners, “We keep things structured, but we keep it fun too. You’ll work hard, but you’ll enjoy it, and that’s how you stay consistent.” Anyone who’s trained with her for a while knows that’s exactly how it goes.
Her boxing classes combine textbook fundamentals with structured athletic conditioning. Every session focuses on footwork, ring IQ, defense, and power development. Mimi emphasizes gradual, steady progress, so her classes are designed to build in intensity over time. You won’t feel overwhelmed or like you’re being pushed too far too fast.
Through personal training or group boxing classes, her students gain strength, composure, confidence, and mental resilience. It’s one thing to throw clean, powerful punches, and it’s another to stay calm under pressure and keep improving round after round. That philosophy makes her programs some of the best-rated boxing classes in Toronto.
