Train With Purpose and Fight With Confidence

Alex has a simple rule: learn it all right from the start. His whole coaching philosophy is based on textbook boxing fundamentals. Once those are covered, everything else comes naturally. He tries to build a strong enough base so that, over time, athletes can find their own style instead of just copying their heroes.

This applies to both training for fitness and stepping into the ring. Alex approaches both with the same mindset: come prepared and leave knowing that you’ve really done some real work.

And if you ask him what separates athletes who grow from those who plateau, he won’t give you a complicated answer.

“The fundamentals aren’t a starting point. They’re the whole game. Master them, and your style takes care of itself.”
